Victorian Christmas ball
Join us as we celebrate the holidays with a historic ball. A caller will be onsite to teach participants dances of the past and drinks and light refreshments will be served. Historic costumes or fancy Christmas dress encouraged.

Heritage in Action: Highland Cemetery
Join us as we put our heritage into action by cleaning a portion of Highland Cemetery. Take a walk with museum director Heather Hagedorn and learn about some of our community ancestors buried along the route and then roll up your sleeves as we do a clean up in the “infant section” of the cemetery.

Join us for hands-on learning about Junction City’s rich sport’s history and learn a little of the “sweet science” of boxing. STEAM Saturday is a come-and-go style event and is free to the public thanks to the support of United Way Junction City/Geary County.
Acoustic Junction at St. Joseph's Historic Church
Join the Geary County Historical Society and the McDowell Creek Community for an evening of live local music and good community as we raise funds for the completion of St. Joseph’s Historic Church restoration project.
Located at 13497 Lower McDowell Creek Road, take exit 307 off I-70 and head south 2 miles. Church is on the left. Parking is limited so carpooling is recommended!

Hot Dogs and Hot Rods: Ice Cream Social and Vintage Car Show
Join the Geary County Historical Society for their annual Ice Cream Social, this year with the added fun of a vintage car show!
Check out local vintage “hot rods” and then grab all your favorite ice cream social treats while you listen to music performed by: JCHS Pep Band, the Kansas Brigade Band and North 40!
It will be a community event you don’t want to miss.
